Our goal is to lead women to become fully devoted followers of Christ by living out His Great Commission: to go into the world and make disciples.

Building solid relationships is an important part of the journey for each woman. The women at Crossroads represent a diverse group of individuals who are learning, growing, giving and serving, all for the purpose of making the name of Jesus Christ great in our circles of influence. We want women to be empowered by God to better lead in their callings as wives, moms, daughters, sisters, and in their jobs, professional spheres and communities.

CR Women

The mission of SheTribe Bible study is to help women become fully devoted followers of Christ through Biblical literacy and through the encouragement of thriving relationships with other women. SheTribe is a great place to grow in your relationship with Christ while meeting other women while learning from their faith journey.

CR Women Give Back

CR Women is partnering with Safe Place to renew the closet that residents “shop” from. Safe Place is a 60-bed facility that temporarily houses women and children who have been affected by domestic violence in their homes.

(There is no cost to the residents.)

Safe Place of the Permian Basin provides:

  • 24-hour emergency shelter to families affected by domestic violence
  • a 24-hour crisis hotline that can answer your questions about family and intimate partner violence and how to get help. Their toll-free hotline number: 1-800-967-8928.
  • personal and legal advocacy
  • Individual counseling
  • support groups
  • an intervention program for abusers

Safe Place’s largest current need is to renew their closet, here’s a note from one of their directors,

Our shelter receives frantic hotline calls from women asking for assistance in order to quickly exit a dangerous situation. So, they have to either leave their belongings behind or just grab whatever they can. Once they arrive at the shelter they are given basic necessities.

The ladies are also given the necessary tools to become self-sufficient by attending advocate meetings, counseling and support group. The Mission of Safe Place is to break the cycle of domestic violence.

God has placed it on our hearts to replace the clothing closet with brand new clothing, so that they will be able to experience what it feels like to not only start a new life but start it with new clothing, “a fresh start”.

Here’s how YOU can help…bring any of the following items to SheTribe this semester:

  • Socks & underwear
  • Tennis shoes
  • Jeans
  • Slacks
  • Shirts

How should you shop for the Closet Renewal Project?

Buy items in your size and your style. This will give the closet variety! They need functional, comfortable clothing they can work in.

What do I do with items that I purchase?

Bring your items to your SheTribe Bible study or bring them on Sunday to the Guest Services Desk in the Lobby.
