School Director
Job Purpose: To oversee the daily function of the Crossroads Primary School program. The Director will be responsible for the day to day operations of the program. He/She will work with the administrators, directors, teachers, and parents to create a positive atmosphere.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the program, including, but not limited to:
- Supervision and evaluation of primary school teachers
- Maintain compliance with the State regulations
- Ensure child records are maintained
- Integrate church ministries as needed
- Facilitate staff prayer, monthly staff meetings, and grade level meetings
- Assist with parent/teacher conferences as needed
- Organization of professional development and/or staff trainings
- Completion and adherence of lesson plans
- Assist teachers with behavior management
- Classrooms walkthroughs
- Scheduling campus drills
- Scheduling appointments with new parents and students
- Assist in organization of school calendar and events
- Implementing program curriculum
- Assist in preparing, executing, and evaluating budget setting program fees
- Set goals and execution of vision for program
- Ensure enrollment is at capacity
- Implementation and planning of school events, staff birthday celebrations, etc.
- Scheduling appointments with new parents and students as needed
- Perform other duties assigned by the Campus Pastor or Central NextGen Pastor
- Maintain current CPR/First Aid certification
Desired Skills
Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Administrative experience and leadership skills to manage the staff and children of the program, must also have Child Care Director’s certificate/credential and experience. Must also be organized, with the ability to ensure the program’s policies and procedures are followed by parents and staff.

- Crossroads membership is required

- Personal discretion concerning information of church life and ministry share into the normal flow of staff relations
