Crossroads Kids

We believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud, and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick:

• I need to make the wise choice.
• I can trust God no matter what.
• I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The focus is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s Word fits in to their lives, to learn how to talk to him, and to build friendships that will last.

NURSERY & PRESCHOOL

We provide safe, welcoming environments for kids birth–5 years old during every Sunday service, with age-appropriate Bible stories, crafts, and worship for ages 3 and up.

ELEMENTARY

We've created fun and safe environments for kindergarten–3rd grade with engaging worship, biblical teaching, and Small Groups to help kids grow in their faith and friendships.

PRETEENS

A space for preteens to grow in their faith, build real friendships, and make it their own through engaging messages, Small Groups, and fun experiences where they feel known.

We’re passionate about helping kids know Jesus and grow in their faith. Whether your family is participating in Parent Child Dedication or your child is ready for baptism, we are here to celebrate and walk alongside you every step of the way.

Preparing Your Child for Baptism

Baptism is an important step in your child’s faith journey, and we want them to fully understand what it means. Two weeks before Baptism Sunday, our Kids Team hosts a required class where kids and parents meet together to talk through faith, salvation, and baptism. This setting gives your child the opportunity to ask questions and feel confident in their decision.

Common Questions

What will my child learn?

Your child will learn about God’s love through age-appropriate Bible lessons, worship, activities, and meaningful friendships.

What safety measures are in place for the children?

We are committed to providing a safe environment for every child through trained and background-checked volunteers, along with security personnel present at all services.

What happens during a typical service?

A typical service is filled with games, worship, Bible lessons, hands-on activities, and small groups that help kids grow in their faith and friendships.

How do I register my kids for the first time?

You can register your child online before your visit or in person at one of our Kids Check-In stations when you arrive.

How does check in and check out work?

When you arrive, you can check your child in at a kiosk with a volunteer or through self check-in. You’ll receive a secure pickup tag that must be shown at pickup to release your child.

How do I know if my child is ready to be baptized?

If a child can confidently explain the Gospel and their decision to trust Jesus, they may be ready for baptism. If there is hesitation or confusion, we encourage continued conversations and growth.

Is there support offered for my child with special needs?

Yes! We offer a special needs ministry called Super Heroes during our 10:30am service to provide a safe, supportive, and engaging environment for every child.

How can I volunteer in kids ministry?

You can get started by filling out a serve form online on our website or by visiting the Information Desk after service.

How can I participate in parent-child dedication?

Families can begin the dedication process by submitting an online application to attend a required orientation class.
