High School Pastor
Purpose
The purpose of the Student Pastor is to develop a High School ministry that connects students
to Jesus (The ONE) so they can have a growing and ongoing relationship with Him. The
Student Pastor will be responsible for building a team to develop creative environments,
engaging student-led services and exciting events, all to fulfill Crossroad’s vision: “For the
ONE.” This role will focus on providing opportunities for Students, Parents and Volunteers to
embody our mission: “Follow the ONE, Reach the ONE, Gather as ONE, Serve the ONE, and
Be the ONE.”
Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate the student ministry
- Develop adult leaders who invest in students as small group leaders
- Oversee planning and execution of all high school events
- Attend church services and church-wide activities
- Promote the student ministry to the church and the local community
- Develop relationships with area schools and officials
- Help in series planning and event planning for student events
- Create service opportunities for students
- Have a working knowledge of all media, tech and procedures
- Train, develop, and coordinate all student media and tech volunteers
- Assist Church Leadership however is needed
- Assess and manage budgets for assigned ministries
- Coordinate with the Exec. Pastor Of Ministries, Middle School Pastor, and Kids Pastor and report to Exec. Pastor of Ministries

- Familiarity with Crossroads’ theology, philosophy, and history
- Loyalty to the Lead Pastor, Staff, and Ministry Leaders
- Commitment to maintain positive relationships with staff
- Maintain personal health and physical fitness
- CROSSROADS membership is required
- Alignment with Church Leadership, as well as with CROSSROADS theology and philosophy is essential
