Next Steps Pastor
Job Purpose: Next Steps are a critical part of fulfilling our purpose at Crossroads and the Next Steps Pastor role is responsible for leading our discipleship ministries at the campus level in order to develop a clear pathway which enables every attendee to easily identify their next step in their journey of becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ. The Next Steps Pastor will help move church attenders through systems and environments that encourage them to take their best next step in connecting with others and spiritual development (becoming a fully devoted follower of Christ).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside Campus Pastor as they lead their campus to join, grow, serve, share
- Direct oversight with Next Steps volunteers at the campus level
- Implement and adhere to policies and processes for the engagement of attendees
- Oversee the system that tracks a guest from their first visit through being fully engagedat Crossroads at the campus level
- Provide support and resources to help build a world-class Guest Service team
- Track a “fully-engaged” system/process at the campus level
- Implement and continue to grow an effective groups system at the campus level
- Recruit, train and develop volunteer group leaders
- Oversight of membership class and other discipleship opportunities at the campus level
- Assimilate new members, first time guests and new Christians as they become fully devoted followers of Christ
