The church has one mission, which is to connect people to Jesus Christ and help them become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ. “Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you…” Matthew 28:18-20
It is the vision and goal of CrossRoads to aggressively carry out the command of Christ’s Great Commission to go into our community as well as to the ends of the earth. Therefore, we view both local and global missionaries as essential partners of our church. We are committed to the mobilization of our own resources (prayer, monetary, and people) for the objective of reaching spiritually lost people in our community and around the world for Christ.

HAITI

Haiti continues to recover from the devastating earthquake in 2010. Our team will work with local church advancement projects and strategic village relationship ministry.

This trip will include community outreach alongside our ministry partner Chris Highfill at Grace River Church in St. Louis. We will host a citywide movie night and facilitate ministry projects in communities surrounding St. Louis. We will also attend Sunday services and volunteer in various church ministries. There will also be a day for sightseeing/recreation.

This trip will consist of working in Vacation Bible School, medical care clinics, and construction projects alongside our missionary partners Jerry and Mindy Kinman.

Not every one of us can go ourselves to spread the word but we should be obedient to support missions in some capacity. He called us to participate in making disciples of all nations, baptizing them, and teaching them to keep His commandments (Matthew 28: 18-20). There are many ways to be involved with this effort – encourage and pray for missionaries and mission fields, and lend financial support to those who have heeded the call to go.
