What is a Crossroads Resident
- A resident is someone who is exploring a commitment to Christ by serving in full time vocational ministry. Generally they are at the beginning of their careers or even in college. Residents are committed wholeheartedly to their faith and the mission of Crossroads.
Why do we need residents?
- Crossroads is committed to developing leaders. We want to do our part in developing the next generation of church leaders. Residents are given specific training and opportunities to grow and develop in their faith and leadership capacity.
What would a resident do?
- Residents would be involved in a rigorous training program that instructs in the areas of Biblical literacy and leadership development. In addition, they would work in a department (Kids, Students, Operations, Communications, etc.) to apply those principles immediately and gain valuable practical knowledge.
What does the commitment look like?
- The commitment is for one year as a resident, with an opportunity for a second year for those who qualify. Residents will be paid a stipend to help offset their living expenses. For those who are from out of town, we will work to connect residents with host homes.
