CROSSROADS

Internship Program

Internship Program

CROSSROADS is a dynamic growing church in an oil-based economy in West Texas.  Midland-Odessa is the fastest-growing metropolitan area in the country according to the U.S. Bureau for Economic Development for 2012-2013.  CROSSROADS has grown by over 300% in the last four years and reaches over 2,500 people a week on three campuses plus an additional 400 weekly online.

CROSSROADS has a long and rich history of being an instrument of God in West Texas.  Lead Pastor Jeremiah Ramer has been at CROSSROADS since 2020, leading the church to connect people to Jesus Christ and helping them become fully devoted followers of Him. In a community experiencing such a rapid population boom, there is a desperate need to reach the thousands of un-churched, de-churched, and non-Christians moving into our community.

At CROSSROADS, we believe strongly in investing in the next generation of Christ-followers that will lead the church around the globe.  That is the reason we started the CROSSROADS Internship Program (CIP).  Our goal is to provide practical ministry experience, an opportunity to grow through personal development training, a weekly intern study, and cultivate one-on-one relationships with Pastors and Directors on our staff in a stage of life ahead of you.  The CIP is demanding, but we hope to be good stewards of the time you are investing and the resources we are investing in you.

Ministries

Children’s Ministry

An intern in the CR Kids ministry can expect a summer full of the unexpected!  We will have several events during the summer that you will help coordinate and facilitate.  You will be a part of our Sunday morning classes each week and have numerous opportunities to visit with many of our amazing volunteers.  You will receive an up close and personal experience with every aspect of what goes on each day to make our ministry a success week after week.

Operations Ministry

An intern in the Business and Administration department will serve alongside our Business and Administration pastor as well as the Pastor of Operations. This is a great opportunity for someone who feels led to serve in a church by helping organize and maintain budgets, interact with vendors, and help support the overall operation aspect of church.

Campus Intern

As an intern at a multi-site location you will have the opportunity to learn and develop several key positions/skills for your ministry in  areas such as Media, Children’s, Guest Services, and Site Development.

Student Ministry

A student ministry intern will have an opportunity to develop skills for ministry while serving along side our student staff.  They will have opportunities to lead Bible studies, plan services, plan and prepare for events, and build relationships with students to help them connect with Christ and become fully devoted followers.

Service Programming

An intern in this department has many different opportunities depending on their skills with worship, creative arts and technology.  Interns in this department will help plan services, help with creative elements, and serve as a support to these teams while learning skills for ministry.  Interns with specific skills will have opportunities to use them in the areas of video editors, worship leaders, musicians, sound engineers, lighting directors and other related skills. If you are interested in video editing, graphic design, or leading worship, we will ask for you to send us a link to some of your previous work in those areas for review.
